Weekend Rides
Cycling Club
Join us for a ride on country lanes starting in south Hertfordshire.  Choose an easy Saturday afternoon (up to 10 mph) or a longer Sunday ride (12 mph).  See our FAQ page for further details.
Not a CTC member: Why not try a ride before joining? Please bring a completed guest entry form and Contact us if you have any questions.

Sunday rides - day rides (average 12 mph) (printable list attached):
On Sundays we lead a faster day-ride.  Sometimes we split into faster and slower rides, usually to the same destinations, to suit riders on the day.  We have plenty of stops: a morning break at a café, a lunch stop (usually at a pub, but sometimes we have a picnic or use a café) and, in the summer, an afternoon break at a café.   If you don't want to stay out all day, there's usually someone to return with after the morning coffee stop. You can also shorten the ride by meeting us at our morning stop.

In the summer a full Sunday ride could be over 60 miles. In the winter, rides are about 40 miles as we have lunch nearer the start and try to return before dark (but please bring lights as we may be delayed).  See our previous ride reports for an idea of what to expect.
