South Herts Cyclists

Join us for sociable cycle rides on quiet lanes in South Hertfordshire.

We are a part of Cycling UK (the CTC) - the cyclists' champion. Since 1878 we have championed a simple belief – that cycling is a wonderful activity that should remain accessible and available to all.

Rides usually start in St Albans, Hatfield or Hertford. All starting points are near train stations and parking facilities and we have a mix of Hertfordshire residents and people from north London. Please contact our secretary for more information.

Christmas Lunch

This year’s Christmas lunch is on Sunday 16th December at The Attimore Hall pub in Welwyn Garden City, from 12:45 pm. Please advise Carol of your choices from this menu and give Carol or Steve the deposit of £5 before 1st December.

There will be a ride to there starting from The View cafe at Panshanger Golf Course, leaving at 10:30 am. The Attimore Hall can also be reached by public transport using the 301 bus from St Albans or Stevenage, the 724 from the Watford, St Albans and Hatfield area, or train to WGC then bus.

What do we do?

We are a non-competitive cycling club with weekly rides on Sundays and Wednesday evenings. We lead shorter/easier fun rides on some Saturday mornings, with women-only rides also on some Saturdays.
